I'm looking to purchase a tablet in the 10" size and I'm curious how the difference in resolution would impact reading novels, comic books, games, etc Obviously the 1280x800 will allow for more real estate but if I opted for the smaller resolution (purely because of pricing) II'm glad that I went with the 10 inch display in that the 1280 x 800 HDMI setting yields a very good & workable display when viewed from about 2 feet The 8 inch display would have been just too small with the 1280 x 800 setting I've only had this unit for just a few hours The display is bright, colors seem true, and with good viewing angles When the best mode a monitor offers is exactly half of it's native mode, it's usually a sign that the monitor has saved the expensive of having a scaler, and only supports it's full native resolution and half that (1280 x 800 is half the native X and Y resolution of the LP3065) We see this most often with the Apple Cinema displays, which
